Privacy Policy
What Mardina Safiyya® Global Resources (PG0451528-P) collects when you visit and shop with us, why, who helps us with it, and the choices you have. We follow Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010.
What You Tell Us
When you order, sign in or write to us: your name, email address, phone number and delivery address, what you ordered and how you paid (not your card or banking details: the payment provider handles those).
What you choose to share: reviews and their photos, photos or videos sent with a return, chat and support messages, answers to our short survey after an order, and, if you join our affiliate programme, the bank account we pay you into. Bank details are stored encrypted and shown to our team only in part.
What We Learn While You Browse
Our own measurement records which pages you open, what you search for, what you add to your bag and how far you get through checkout, together with where you came from (an ad, an email, a search), your approximate country and region, and whether you use a phone, tablet or computer, with its operating system and browser (for example iPhone and Safari, or the Instagram app). Your IP address and browser details are kept only as scrambled (hashed) codes, used to recognise a returning visitor.
We also note, section by section, how far down a page you scroll, how long each part stays on your screen and where you tap, so we can tell which parts help and which get in the way. Nothing you type is kept this way.
From what you look at, we work out what you are shopping for (for example Umrah, travel or everyday wear) to show you the most relevant pieces, photos and offers first. Some visitors are shown different versions of a page so we can learn which one serves people best; you stay on the same version during a test.
Microsoft Clarity
We use Microsoft Clarity for every visitor to see how people use the shop: it records mouse movements, taps, scrolling and the pages you open, along with your device and browser type, and turns them into replays and heatmaps that help us fix what is confusing. Anything you type into a form is hidden, and checkout, your account, your order page and the chat are hidden entirely. Clarity uses cookies to recognise a returning browser. Microsoft processes this data as described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement (privacy.microsoft.com).
Advertising
When it is switched on, the Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API tell Meta which of our pages were viewed and what was added to a bag or bought, with the order value and a scrambled identifier for your browser. This lets us measure our ads and show them to people likely to find them useful. We do not send your address or payment details.
Cookies and Storage
We keep a small number of first-party cookies and browser storage items: your bag, your sign-in, a visitor code, what you seem to be shopping for, the version of a page you were shown and your currency. Microsoft Clarity and, when switched on, Meta set their own cookies. You can clear or block cookies in your browser's settings; the shop still works, but it will treat you as a new visitor.
Why We Use It
To take, pack, deliver and support your order, and to let you track it. To keep your account, rewards, store credit and returns. To answer your messages. To send order and delivery emails. To send offers and news, only if you agreed to them, with a way to unsubscribe in every email. To improve the shop, measure our advertising and prevent fraud.
Who Helps Us
Our payment providers (Billplz and Stripe), our couriers, the services that host the shop, store our photos and videos and send our emails, Microsoft (Clarity) and Meta as described above, and AI services that help our team draft replies to your messages (a person always reads and sends the reply). Each uses your data only to do that work for us. We do not sell your personal data.
How Long We Keep It
Browsing records are kept for 120 days, what we have learned about a returning browser for a year, and section-by-section page records for 90 days. Orders and invoices are kept for as long as Malaysian tax and accounting rules require. Your account stays until you ask us to close it.
Your Choices
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. You can stop marketing emails at any time with the link in each email. Write to us at the email below and we will reply within 21 days.
Changes
When we change how we use your data, we update this page and the date at the top.
